About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Manager position to join our Rooms Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
 

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants to ensure exceptional service delivery.

• Assign duties, monitor individual and team performance, and assist team members in their tasks.

• Inspect guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld in accordance with hotel standards.

• Train, motivate, and guide the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

• Assist in preparing and monitoring the departmental budget, ensuring operations align with the hotel’s business plan.

• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Housekeeping management role within an international company.

• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, including outsourced and casual staff, ensuring consistent service quality.

• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and safe chemical handling practices.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with fluency in English and Spanish, fostering teamwork and positive employee relations.

• Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with OPERA or other hotel management systems will be considered an asset.
