About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Manager position to join our Rooms Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Assign duties, monitor individual and team performance, and assist team members in their tasks.
Inspect guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld in accordance with hotel standards.
Train, motivate, and guide the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Assist in preparing and monitoring the departmental budget, ensuring operations align with the hotel’s business plan.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Housekeeping management role within an international company.
Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, including outsourced and casual staff, ensuring consistent service quality.
Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and safe chemical handling practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills with fluency in English and Spanish, fostering teamwork and positive employee relations.
Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with OPERA or other hotel management systems will be considered an asset.
