Housekeeper

Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and compassionate Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. This casual part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to the comfort and well-being of seniors. Key Responsibilities: Clean resident suites, common areas, and staff spaces according to established schedules and standards Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash Launder linens and towels as required Restock supplies and report any maintenance or safety issues Ensure all cleaning practices follow health and safety guidelines Be adaptable to the changing needs of the community and team, assisting with special cleaning projects or resident requests Maintain a respectful and courteous attitude toward residents, visitors, and coworkers Support infection control protocols and contribute to a healthy living environment Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and time management skills Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) Empathy and patience when working in a seniors living environment Flexible availability including weekends and holidays Working Conditions: Casual part-time hours, scheduled based on operational needs Physical work involving repetitive tasks and movement Supportive, community-focused workplace
