Housekeeper Toronto, ON Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a family located in North York. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence. This position is full-time, live-out. Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm with some flexibility when needed for events, holidays etc. Candidate Profile: You are a professional and motivated housekeeper with excellent housekeeping and laundry skills who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You communicate well and are comfortable working independently. You understand a home is a living environment, not just a workplace, and can easily adjust your daily schedule to accommodate activities in the residence. Our client is looking for someone who wants to invest in a stable, long-term. Primary Responsibilities: Daily housekeeping to include, but not limited to, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and staff area maintenance (basement office) Regular laundry of linens and bedding and occasional ironing Trash and recycling management – sort and dispose of recycling, compost, and garbage correctly Ensure household security protocols are followed Answering the door, receive packages Run errands occasionally as needed Assistance in the Kitchen Supervise vendors as needed Dog walking Other duties as assigned Applicant Qualities: Excellent English communication skills and professional personal presentation Detail oriented Must be comfortable lifting 30 pounds Must be comfortable with dogs Excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces Must maintain privacy and confidentiality always, exercising diplomacy, discretion and respecting appropriate boundaries Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
