Hotel Receptionist -Ambleside Salutation Hotel

The Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa are looking for a new team member to join our existing team, in return for your commitment your benefits will be: Straight Shifts (40 hours over 5 days) Up to 6 weeks annual holiday Uniform Provided Meals on duty Free use of leisure facilities Gratuities Paid Monthly Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel - Check guests in and out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process - Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member - Maintain accurate guest records and handle cash transactions - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service - Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively - Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in guest information and transactions - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism Note: Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Requirements: - Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in using computer systems (Guestline PMS) and software for reservations and guest management Shift Types; A mixture of Early Shifts, Middle Shifts and Late Shifts over 5 days. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £2,607.00 per month Live-out.
