A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Healthcare Assistant (Home Support) from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled for Co. Wexford only. Please note, the lifespan of this panel is dependent on the new restructuring within the HSE.

Purpose of the Post

The Healthcare Assistant (Home Support) is a key member of the Social Care Team, responsible for the provision of a quality service to support people in the community to remain in their own home as long as possible who would otherwise need to be cared for in residential care. The client specific duties will be defined by the Home Support Resource Manager.
