Healthcare Assistant (Critical Care)

The Health Care Assistant is responsible for assisting with the provision of individualised patient care while under the supervision, direction and guidance of a Registered Nurse and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The health care assistant will be familiar with all policies and procedures of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.

The health care assistant will carry out his / her duties to the best of their capabilities having regard for patient safety and patient care. The role is one of a holistic nature and encompasses competencies necessary to fulfil the requirements of the post in line with the Office of Health Management.
