About the Role Are you passionate about supporting young people and promoting mental health and wellbeing? We are seeking a Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join our Student Services team. In this vital role, you will provide student-centred early support, emotional support, and safeguarding interventions to ensure learners feel safe, valued, and able to thrive in their education. You’ll deliver 1:1 wellbeing appointments, run group workshops, respond to crisis situations, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to reduce barriers to learning and improve attendance and retention. Key Responsibilities Deliver individual wellbeing support and group sessions on resilience, stress, relationships, and online safety. Act as part of the College safeguarding team, responding to disclosures and managing risk. Develop and lead health promotion campaigns aligned with our Wellbeing & EDI calendar. Build strong partnerships with NHS, CAMHS, social care, and local charities. Maintain accurate case records and contribute to reporting for senior leadership and inspections. Support staff CPD and promote a culture of wellbeing across all campuses. What We’re Looking For Level 3 qualification or above in Health, Social Care, Youth Work, Counselling, Psychology, or similar. Minimum two years’ experience supporting young people or vulnerable groups. Strong knowledge of mental health, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice.
