Head of Value Stream Data & Analytics Enablement, UK Data and analytics is an important enabler for the UK Business’ strategy and in achieving its’ ourcomes. The Head of Value Stream Data & Analytics Enablement, UK is within the UK Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) function. The UK CDAO function is responsible for data risk and control management, delivering the data platform strategy, delivering data and analytics products and AI for the UK Business. The Head of Value Stream Data & Analytics Enablement, UK is a key role to enable the Data Strategy for the UK and is part of the UK CDAO leadership team. This role is responsible for managing demand, and building strong relationships with the value streams and all internal stakeholders. The UK Data & Analytics area is a newly formed team that is integral to the success of the UK. This is a specialised role that not only has cross line of business SME knowledge, but also has expert knowledge across data and analytics, including the data policy, data risk and controls and data & analytics products and services that the UK CDAO function provides to value streams and enabler value streams. This role will carry out some or all of the following responsibilities: Business Engagement: Being the key interface between the UK business & infrastructure teams and the UK Data & Analytics team. Representing the UK Data & Analytics team in all business engagement and in senior forums. Demand Management: Bringing in and managing the demand and triage process for the UK Data & Analytics function. This includes implementing transparent processes for front foor engagement, book of work management and prioritisation. Clear up to date understanding of the UK Data & Analytics portfolio and book of work. Team Building: Building a high performance team that can represent the UK Data & Analytics team appropriately. Including all aspects of the Data Strategy and all products and services that are tailored to stakeholder requirements. Stakeholder Management: Form close relationships with Group DAO, UK Stakeholders and other CDAO areas to ensure a collaborative and service-led delivery approach. Trends: Understand all trends to do with UK financial services as well as data and analytics to ensure business and regulatory needs can be met with data and analytics. Communication: Develop and implement a relevant communication plan and materials to enable amplification of UK Data & Analytics capabilities. Act as delegate for the UK CDAO and become a trusted advisor, managing stakeholder’s expectations and working relationships with the team focusing on transparency, culture and collaboration. Escalation Point: Act as a point of escalation for data and analytics for the UK. Work with cross business stakeholders to determine proactive solutions to resolve. This role will require the following skills: Awareness of the UK financial landscape and regulations Leading small but high performing teams Strong analytical, organizational, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills Well versed using Microsoft suite, including data and analytics tools and languages. Excellent knowledge of Agile / programme management tools, including Confluence and Jira. Strong stakeholder management / relationship management skills Ability to influence stakeholders across geographies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent knowledge of delivering data and analytics products and services, including other technical solutions Experience in a large Global organisation preferably in a data business line, IT department or shared service operation. Experience of working on a regional scale (i.e. across time zone & geography and with remote teams) This role is based in Birmingham.
