Job Opportunity We are looking for a Head of Communication to elevate GONG into a truly global and iconic brand. This role will define how the world perceives, experiences, and connects with GONG. You will be the architect of the brand’s voice and image, transforming our DNA into bold storytelling, world-class content, and powerful activations. By orchestrating creative production, social platforms, and global communities of riders and ambassadors, you will ensure GONG stands as a reference in authenticity, innovation, and lifestyle influence. Your Mission Define and own the global editorial line and brand guidelines, shaping a distinctive and aspirational voice for GONG. Transform the brand’s DNA into powerful storytelling and bold campaigns that inspire across all platforms. Lead and elevate the Production, Creative, Copywriting, and Distribution teams to deliver cutting-edge, high-impact content. Guarantee excellence in every visual, editorial, and audiovisual asset, setting new standards in the industry. Activate, expand, and inspire the GONG community (riders, ambassadors, power clients) as a global engine of credibility and influence. Establish and protect a premium, unified brand image across all international markets. Embed authenticity by ensuring communication reflects the true customer experience, integrating continuous feedback from the field. Deliver world-class assets for product launches and campaigns, driving seamless collaboration with Marketing, E-commerce, and Product teams. 👉 This role is not just about communication — it is about shaping an iconic global brand through storytelling, creativity, and community influence. Your Profile A true passion for surf and board sports — not just as a hobby, but as part of your identity. Deep understanding of the industry and tribal culture of our sports. A visionary communicator with 7–10 years of senior leadership in brand, communication, or lifestyle marketing. Proven ability to build iconic brands internationally, ideally within sports, outdoor, or DNVB environments. Mastery of modern storytelling and social culture (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn). Strong leadership to inspire and manage multi-disciplinary creative teams. Sharp editorial and visual sense, with an ability to craft narratives that resonate worldwide. Experience in activating networks of athletes, ambassadors, and communities. Fluent in English and French, with other languages as an asset. ⚡This role is not about managing communication.
