Growth Marketing Manager (SEO & Web Optimization) Application Deadline: 29 December 2025 Department: Demand Generation Employment Type: Contract Location: Portugal Description We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager with strong SEO and experimentation experience to drive organic and owned-channel growth to our main acquisition website for SMB customers. This role focuses on strategy, experimentation, and coordination, rather than hands-on execution. You will define priorities, run structured experiments, and work closely with SEO and content agencies to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion across markets. Develop and execute an organic acquisition strategy to increase traffic to our primary acquisition website Expand activation beyond organic search to platforms such as YouTube and LinkedIn Identify quick wins and longer-term growth opportunities across the funnel Design and manage A/B tests and web optimization experiments Improve conversion rates, impressions, clicks, and user journeys Analyze user behavior and experiment results using data and dashboards Apply experimentation best practices (control groups, statistical significance, causal impact) Identify content gaps based on user intent and search behavior Define content and landing page requirements for SEO and conversion Ensure SEO strategies are localized and market-relevant across international markets Challenge agencies with a user-first, data-driven approach Act as the main point of contact for SEO, content, and activation agencies Define experiment briefs, content requirements, and technical specifications Coordinate approvals and execution via internal CMS and governance processes Improve efficiency and impact of agency collaboration You will not code or directly publish website changes You will not write all content yourself (writers and designers support execution) This is not an AI-focused role and not a pure SEO specialist role After 6 months, you will: Own a clear organic and owned-channel growth roadmap Be running structured, measurable experiments Deliver improvements in traffic, impressions, clicks, and conversions Enable more effective, user-centric agency execution Proactively identify new initiatives that drive business growth Key Responsibilities Experience in growth marketing, SEO, or organic acquisition Strong understanding of experimentation and web optimization Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing funnels and performance Strong project management and coordination skills Confidence working with and challenging external agencies Fluent in English Comfortable working across international markets Ability to work in systems with limited direct control (CMS approvals, governance) E-commerce or conversion optimization experience Content writing or editorial experience Experience with Search Console or similar SEO tools Knowledge of additional languages (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES especially) Exposure to generative search or emerging SEO trends Internal CMS (BrightSpot – execution via approval process) SEO & analytics tools (e.g., Search Console, dashboards) Experimentation and testing frameworks Collaboration with multiple agencies and internal stakeholders Structured onboarding including SEO training and immersion sessions On-site alignment sessions planned as part of onboarding LDAP access required This role sits at the intersection of growth strategy, SEO, experimentation, and execution coordination.
