Title: Group Leader - NSRP Development and Manufacturing Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Location: Burton Working Pattern: Full time (37.5 hrs per week) – Hybrid Working Closing Date is 23rd January 2026 We encourage early applications, as vacancies may close once we receive sufficient applications. A vacancy has arisen for the Group Leader of the NSRP Development and Manufacturing group within the Design and Engineering discipline as part of our capability dimension. The group focusses on delivering Nuclear Engineering projects across the full product lifecycle. The team is predominantly based in Burton-on-Trent and you will oversee a range of projects including; requirements capture, concept generation and optioneering, hazard studies, detailed design, manufacturing engineering and in-service support. The group delivers these services into a main client in the Defence Nuclear sector and is developing this offering to wider industry clients. What We’re Looking For A natural leader to shape and grow both the people and the group. Ability to develop and implement a market-led group strategy to ensure the group continues to evolve. Extensive experience in providing technical leadership and project governance with a focus on excellence in delivery. Knowledge and experience of systems engineering principles, designing hardware and manufacturing processes. Experience working in the Defence Nuclear Industry, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of Naval PWR technology is desirable. Degree level qualified in a relevant academic area, ideally Chartered or equivalent status, with membership of a relevant professional body.
