Wood’s Consulting Business Unit is recruiting for Graduate Subsea / Offshore Energy Engineers to join our graduate programme based in Aberdeen from Summer 2026. The Role We are looking for dynamic individuals, wanting to make a difference to energy security and transition, to support our projects in subsea and onshore energy transportation, including hydrogen, carbon capture, renewable and conventional energies. Supporting the energy transition through decarbonisation and green energies is a key part of our plans and we expect to see significant growth in these sectors, while at the same time meeting commitments to existing hydrocarbon development infrastructure. Wood is committed to the implementation of the latest digital technologies to the energy environment and is looking for the next generation of engineers with both the skills and imagination to realise this ambition. Our graduate engineers will work on a range of projects under the guidance of experienced engineers and managers. The work and Wood training will support the development of the graduate engineer and allow them to apply advanced engineering skills and management techniques to our range of projects. Within Technical Consulting, our clients range from both major and independent operators of onshore oil & gas and clean energy facilities such as carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and windfarms, through to suppliers, fabricators and EPC contractors. We execute projects from concept through detailed design, construction and commissioning on a world-wide basis.
