General Manager

We are looking for a talented Branch Manager to join our team specializing in Service and Operation for our Mississauga branch, Ontario. Job Summary: Manages the day-to-day operations at a defined location; responsible for all functions and financial metrics in a group of branches in a specific business segment or small geography. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Drive Operational Excellence Across Branches: By managing Branch Managers and overseeing all branch functions, you'll ensure consistent performance, alignment with strategic goals, and operational efficiency across your span of control. Deliver on Financial and Strategic Goals: You'll lead the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan, ensuring branches meet profit and loss targets, asset utilization goals, and balanced scorecard metrics. Lead Market and Business Growth Initiatives: Through market analysis and strategic planning, you'll identify growth opportunities, manage marketing and sales efforts, and cultivate new partnerships to expand Cummins’ footprint. Champion Customer Satisfaction and Service Culture: You'll foster a customer-first mindset, using tools like Net Promoter Score and Lens of the Customer to measure and improve satisfaction, while building high-performing service teams. Enhance Product and Service Quality: By managing warranty processes and analyzing recurring issues, you'll provide feedback that drives product improvements and reduces repair cycle times. Ensure Compliance and Promote Safety: You'll oversee health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring branches pass audits and maintain a culture of corporate responsibility and employee well-being. Develop and Empower Branch Leadership: Through coaching, development plans, and performance management, you'll build strong leadership pipelines and retain top talent within your branch network. Integrate Regional and Global Business Insights: Your deep understanding of Cummins’ operations—locally and globally—will help align branch strategies with broader business unit goals, driving synergy and long-term success.
