🚀 Role: Founder Associate 📍 Location: Richmond 🕒 Type: Full-time Are you excited by the idea of working directly with a founder to build and scale the commercial engine of a fast-growing business? We’re hiring a Founder Associate, a uniquely broad role that blends strategy, execution and hands-on go-to-market building. This role is perfect for someone who is both commercially sharp and highly articulate, who loves thinking strategically but isn’t afraid to pick up the phone, test hypotheses and speak to customers. You’ll spend 70–80% of your time designing and building GTM systems and 20–30% of your time validating them through outbound calling and prospect conversations. Because of this, confident phone communication are essential. You’ll work in a small, high-ownership environment gaining exposure to strategic decision-making while also learning the technical and operational side of modern GTM execution. 🛠️ What You’ll Do You’ll learn and execute the full GTM stack: from strategy and system design to data, automation and live customer validation. You'll get hands-on exposure to: Designing systems from outcomes Start with the business goal, reverse-engineer what’s required, and build the stack needed to achieve it. Automating workflows Connect CRMs, enrichment tools and reporting systems using platforms like Zapier or Make. Building prospect lists in Clay Use logic, data and experimentation to identify and qualify leads that match our ICPs. Calling prospects to validate your work Cold calling is the fastest feedback loop. You’ll test lists, messaging and assumptions directly with prospects. Clear, confident communication is critical for this part of the role. Email & outbound infrastructure Set up and manage domains, DNS, deliverability and outbound automation for reliable inbox performance. Reporting & analytics Build simple, meaningful dashboards that track funnel health and campaign results. Systems testing & iteration Experiment, measure, refine—continuously improving every workflow you build. Explaining your logic Document your decisions and clearly articulate the reasoning behind your builds, tests and strategies. You don’t need to know how to do all of this already — we will teach you. What matters most is your clarity of thinking, communication ability, curiosity, and willingness to learn fast. 💡 What We’re Looking For Conceptual & Systems Thinker You enjoy starting from an outcome and working backwards to design the system that achieves it.
