About the Role
The Food & Domestic Assistant works across both catering and cleaning departments as rostered. Within the Catering area the F&DA works under the day-to-day supervision of the Catering Coordinator or Cook to assist in the preparation and delivery of high quality and nutritious meals for patients and residents. The adherence to food safety standards in the preparation and delivery of all food is essential.
The role also requires general and programmed cleaning of various sites of Hesse Rural Health according to the relevant duty list. The adherence to environmental cleaning and infection control standards is essential. Hesse follows a chemical free policy. The incumbent will work within a team environment and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, residents’ families and other customers. Daily operational reporting occurs via nursing shift leader.
