As we continue to scale, we’re now looking for a Finance Assistant to support our day-to-day financial operations and help ensure our finance function runs smoothly and efficiently. What you’ll do Bookkeeping Support: Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and financial data is kept up to date. Invoicing: Prepare and send client invoices, track payment statuses, and support the credit control process where needed. Payment Processing: Help prepare weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring supplier information is accurate and payments are scheduled correctly. Payroll Coordination: Work closely with payroll providers to supply required information and support the monthly payroll process. Expense Management: Review and process employee expenses, checking documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies. Financial Administration: Support month-end tasks, including reconciliations, data entry, and providing information for reports. Team Support: Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain smooth financial workflows and provide general finance-related assistance. Process Support: Assist in maintaining and improving finance procedures to help the team operate as efficiently as possible. What we’re looking for Experience: 1+ year in a finance, accounts, or administrative role preferred, but strong graduates or trainees will also be considered. Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero) is beneficial, but training can be provided. Numerical Confidence: Comfortable working with figures, spreadsheets, and basic financial data. Attention to Detail: Accurate, organised, and thorough in your work. Communication: Clear and professional communicator with the ability to work smoothly with different teams. Proactive Attitude: Eager to learn, ask questions, and support wherever needed.
