We monetise this through world class data products and events. We’re seeking a proactive Finance Analyst to support our growing Hanson Wade finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant, this part-qualified role focuses on core transactional accounting (bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, general ledger maintenance) and contributes to month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and day-to-day financial administration. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and Core Finance Activities: Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations, including journals, general ledger reviews, bank reconciliations, and resolving debtor queries. Manage key transactional processes such as customer invoicing, accounts payable, expense approvals (SAP Concur), and updates in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other finance systems. Provide routine financial administration and support to the wider finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end and operational performance. Support day-5 month-end close with revenue and balance sheet reconciliations. Produce internal and event-specific financial reports to aid decision-making. Prepare VAT returns for the UK and selected EU jurisdictions. Build strong relationships with internal teams to clarify financial processes. Knowledge skills and abilities: Proactive, adaptable self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly, and collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders. Maintains a positive, solutions-focused attitude while taking on additional responsibilities and navigating shifting priorities. Skilled in core bookkeeping tasks, including bank and general ledger reconciliations, customer invoicing, accounts payable, and journal entries. Qualifications and technical skills: 3 years’ finance experience. Actively studying towards either ACCA/ACA (minimum 50% of exams passed) or AAT qualified. Strong accounting knowledge (accruals, prepayments, VAT, double-entry) and Excel proficiency. Experienced with finance systems (NetSuite a plus) and process improvement. Why choose us?
