The role The is a Field Service Engineer role which will involve daily travel to our clients in Paris and surrounding areas, with occasional travel throughout France - 90% of the time. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional to manage and perform maintenance and repair interventions of our Group's equipment at our clients' sites. This position requires solid technical expertise and the ability to work autonomously while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with safety and quality standards. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation & Planning · Gather documentation, technical files, and necessary parts for upcoming interventions. · Actively participate in preparatory meetings to align with the intervention team and cover all aspects. · Develop detailed intervention schedules to optimize operations and ensure deadline compliance. Commissioning & Testing · Commission equipment according to established procedures, ensuring proper functioning. · Perform electrical, mechanical (including insulation tests) and functional tests (e.g., alarms, switching). · Conduct electrical measurements and record results in on-site test sheets, validating designs and specifications. Maintenance & Troubleshooting · Perform preventive maintenance under ongoing service contracts, ensuring optimal equipment performance. · Train and support client technicians in maintaining their equipment. · Diagnose failures, validate diagnoses made by technical support, and ensure efficient resolution. · Call upon competent technical support teams for complex breakdowns. Mission Reporting & Stock Management · Write and present detailed intervention reports for validation by your supervisor. · Maintain accurate stock levels for spare parts and ensure efficient inventory management on-site and at client locations. · Record missions in Oracle to ensure clear communication between departments. Commercial Support & Technical Recommendations · Identify opportunities for complementary services or products and forward them to sales teams. · Provide technical recommendations and support to clients to improve their operational efficiency. · Contribute to the Commercial Information Transfer (CIT) process to identify and address client needs. QUALIFICATIONS · Education Minimum 2-year technical degree in electrical engineering or electrical maintenance (or equivalent), with at least 2 years of experience in the field. · Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. · Certifications Electrical certification, type B2 · Language Skills Technical English proficiency preferred · Driving Licence PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS In this position, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the following areas: · Environmental Protection Actively participate in waste sorting and sustainability initiatives. · Safety Compliance Consistently follow safety instructions, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow all safety instructions. · Workplace Organization Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage and management of equipment and materials. · Incident Reporting Be a key contact point for reporting any malfunction, dangerous situation, or safety incident detected during your work.
