This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Engineer - High Voltage in the United States.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work on high-voltage power delivery projects across diverse sites, providing critical support to project and construction managers. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination of materials, subcontractors, and field activities. The position demands significant travel and hands-on involvement in the execution of complex projects. You will leverage surveying tools, GPS equipment, and project management software to track work progress, manage inspections, and facilitate closeouts. This is a highly visible role where your technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders directly contribute to project success.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform field surveys and track work activities using GPS and PC-based software.
  • Manage project-specific quality control records, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
  • Coordinate materials, deliveries, and inventory management.
  • Assist with subcontractor scheduling and oversight to maintain project timelines.
  • Support project closeout activities, including as-built documentation, job binder preparation, and RFI submittals.
  • Provide regular updates to project management, escalating risks or issues as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including extended hours and weekend work when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Prior construction experience, ideally in high-voltage or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
  • Familiarity with GPS and surveying equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and customer-focused.
  • Preferred experience with project management software such as ProCore, E-builder, View Point, Build to Win.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status.
