Now, we're looking for a Facility Worker 1 to join our amazing team at Century Mile Racetrack and Casino. If you’re handy, hard-working, and looking for a place where no two days are the same — this is your chance to be part of something exciting. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Facility Worker, you’ll help keep our property running smoothly and looking its best. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Maintaining the building and grounds: From snow removal to lawn care, power washing to garbage removal — you're on it. * Troubleshooting and fixing minor issues in and around the property. * Keeping things clean, safe, and organized for guests and team members. * Working independently and solving problems with confidence. * Collaborating with team members and building strong internal relationships. * Pitching in with other duties as needed — we’re all in this together! What We’re Looking For: * A team player with at least one year of maintenance or labour experience. * Comfortable with physical tasks and able to lift heavy objects safely. * A self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills. * Great communication skills in English — both written and verbal. * Someone who takes pride in their work and follows safe work practices. * A high school diploma (or a mix of education and experience that fits). * Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
