Description

The Facility Coordinator / Gatekeeper R&D supports the Facility Manager and the Building Manager in the organization and coordination of services at the R&D south area at the Dow site with regard to management and maintenance of assigned R&D buildings and installations. The emphasis of the job will be a good mix of solving (simple) malfunctions in installations and the operational coordination and management of contracted companies (suppliers and contractors). Especially with regard to building related issues. The operational coordination and management of contracted subcontractors is an essential part of the daily work.



Responsibilities
  • Independently solving small simple malfunctions in R&D buildings and installations; 
  • The operational management, coordination and monitoring of contracted suppliers in the daily execution of assignments. The emphasis will mainly be on the practical supervision of the work on location;
  • Maintaining, adjusting, correcting and updating the FMIS system TRIRIGA; 
  • First point of contact for suppliers during the practical implementation of work on location; 
  • First point of contact for the R&D stakeholders; 
  • Taking care of, and supervising the aspects of safety, health and well-being and following safety training courses. 
  • After internal training: Handing over work permits on location and carrying out the SWA (start work analysis); 
  • Actively participate in safety observations and inspections; 
  • Reports to the Facility Manager on the progress and details of work.


Qualifications
  • Education VMBO ;
  • VCA for manager;
  • Experience in management and maintenance of building related issue’s / malfunctions; 
  • Experience in industrial services, preferably at Dow Benelux
  • Experience in directing and managing suppliers
  • Strong character traits with regard to showing “ownership”
  • Flexible attitude and good social skills with regard to daily functioning in a close team

Salary Range Language: 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually.  The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
