The Role A great opportunity has arisen for a EWS1and FRAEW Surveyor to join our fire safety consultancy. FDS Consult UK Limited has a strong pipeline of projects and is experiencing a period of growth, as such it is seeking a driven and knowledgeable professional to focus on the delivery of Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEWs) and EWS1. The ideal candidate will have the following: 1-2 years’ experience in delivering FRAEW’s and EWS1 forms. Be a full member of a recognised professional body such as RICS, CABE, IFE, ICE, CIOB, IStructE. Have thorough understanding of EWS1 forms and ratings A strong understanding of PAS 9980 Completed the RICS External Wall System Assessment Training Programme Sound knowledge of construction materials, and facades An understanding of classifications under BS EN 13501-1, Regulation 7 and their application. Proven experience in report writing. In return you can expect: £50,000 - £75,000 dependent upon experience. Hybrid working. Mondays in the Dartford office and then the remaining days split between site and home to suit workload. All professional memberships paid.
