This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect in the United States.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a strategic role in aligning technology with business objectives, guiding decision-making, and shaping long-term IT roadmaps. You will work closely with business and IT leaders to define architecture standards, provide technology guidance, and design scalable solutions across multiple capability domains. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement, enabling the organization to navigate complex systems and emerging technologies. You will influence senior leadership, mentor teams, and ensure that technology investments drive both operational efficiency and innovation. The position offers the opportunity to impact enterprise-wide initiatives while collaborating in a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and implement architectural frameworks, roadmaps, and technology strategies across assigned capability domains.
  • Evaluate existing projects and business capabilities, and develop target architectures to drive business objectives.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and technical expertise to ensure IT solutions support strategic priorities.
  • Review and advise on proposals, initiatives, and technical solutions, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Partner with business users and project sponsors to understand solution requirements and align them with enterprise architecture.
  • Mentor technology teams, sharing knowledge on principles, frameworks, and emerging trends.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending opportunities to optimize architecture and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in IT roles such as systems analysis, solution architecture, software development, or technology consulting.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Enterprise Architecture experience, including designing and implementing enterprise technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Strong leadership experience managing multiple, cross-functional teams or projects, influencing senior-level management and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and translate business needs into actionable technology strategies.
  • TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Certification or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of insurance, risk management, or employee benefits processes and solutions.
  • Experience with large-scale application rationalization programs.
  • Strong skills in evaluating and optimizing IT investments across diverse business units.
