We are seeking an experienced Engineering Tech Lead to drive the development of innovative, AI-powered product features in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will lead a team of product engineers, translating ambitious product goals into high-quality, scalable solutions. The role involves rapid prototyping, architecting production-ready features, mentoring engineers, and shaping the technical roadmap. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure each decision balances user impact, business value, and technical excellence. Accountabilities

·        Lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of AI-powered product features from concept to production.

·        Translate ambiguous product goals into elegant technical solutions grounded in user experience.

·        Mentor and support a high-performing team of engineers, developing technical depth, craftsmanship, and product thinking.

·        Collaborate with product and design teams to shape feature roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.

·        Continuously improve engineering processes, architecture, and coding standards with a focus on performance, stability, and maintainability.

·        Ensure that delivered features provide high-quality, interaction-rich experiences and meet business objectives.

·        Stay current with emerging AI technologies and product development trends, applying them strategically to enhance the product.

Requirements

·        8+ years of experience building and leading software development teams, with strong experience in user-facing product development.

·        Hands-on experience building or deploying LLM-powered features, with a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies.

·        Proven track record of mentoring software engineers and scaling engineering teams.

·        Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and lead complex technical initiatives with measurable impact.

·        Strong product mindset, balancing rapid prototyping with production-quality code.

·        Familiarity with distributed, remote team environments and collaboration across multiple time zones (minimum 4 hours overlap with Eastern Time).

·        Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

·        Demonstrated commitment to engineering excellence, user experience, and innovation.
