Purpose
The Client Embedded Technical Security Design Consultant delivers high‑quality security design solutions for global accounts, partnering closely with Security Design Managers (SDMs), project teams, and external partners. The role drives the creation, coordination, and continual improvement of technical security designs that align with client standards, risk frameworks, and operational needs across the EMEA region.
Major Responsibilities
Partner with SDMs to develop Scope of Works, Spots & Dots drawings, and design documentation.
Lead coordination of design revisions, project updates, and document control throughout project lifecycles.
Support Security Design Managers and Project Managers on MAC activity, strategic initiatives, and complex design projects.
Facilitates seamless handover of design packages to implementation teams, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
Compile metrics, dashboards, and progress tracking to provide visibility of project delivery performance.
Drive design workgroups and contributes technical expertise to ensure consistency with established design baselines and physical security standards.
Provide security consultancy aligned with client requirements, industry regulations, and global standards.
Produce well‑structured reports, technical assessments, procurement support materials, and cost analysis.
Chair or contribute to client‑facing meetings and workshops, ensuring clear documentation of decisions and actions.
Apply security risk management principles to recommend mitigation strategies informed by assessments and site conditions.
Communicate technical and strategic information in clear, accessible formats for diverse technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Support management of client expectations through proactive engagement, timely updates, and solution‑oriented communication.
Conduct regular site visits to validate conditions, engage with project stakeholders, and support design accuracy.
Utilise CAD tools, Bluebeam, and associated platforms to develop, review, and refine design content.
Uphold confidentiality, data protection, and professional integrity at all times.

Education
Higher‑level qualification in electronics, engineering, or related technical discipline (desirable).
Experience & Knowledge
3–5 years’ experience designing or supporting enterprise‑level physical security systems (IP video, access control, etc.).
Strong proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and familiarity with BIM workflows.
Background in security system design, telecom infrastructure, or integrated technical environments.
Experience working with platforms such as Lenel and Milestone.
Exposure to data centre environments (advantageous).
Knowledge of EN and BS standards for security system design and installation.
Confident working across multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Strong writtn and spoken English.
