eLearning QA & Accessibility Specialist (Bilingual English/French)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (English/French) eLearning QA & Accessibility Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This on-demand role offers flexible hours based on project needs and is ideal for someone with a strong background in localization, accessibility standards, and eLearning tools.

Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Remote Canada

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance reviews of eLearning modules in both English and French.
• Validate accessibility compliance using screen readers (JAWs, NVDA), WCAG guidelines and keyboard.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and developers to ensure content meets localization and accessibility standards.
• Conduct functional testing in tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Support localization workflows and file preparation for translation.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving learner experience and accessibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Canadian French (written and spoken).
• Proven experience with eLearning QA and accessibility testing in multiple formats (e.g., multimedia, interactive PDFs)
• Familiarity with screen readers (JAWs, NVDA) and WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Experience testing SCORM packages
• Understanding of localization processes and translation file formats.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage fluctuating workloads.
