Doula Program Manager (Remote - US)

In this role, you will lead and nurture a network of doulas, ensuring high-quality care for families while scaling a support model with nationwide impact. You will manage the end-to-end operations of the program, from recruitment and onboarding to mentorship and engagement, while serving as the voice of the doulas within the organization. This position combines operational oversight with community-building, enabling you to shape experiences, drive innovation, and support maternal health equity. You will collaborate across teams, create educational and inspiring content, and represent the program at events and meetings. The role offers a dynamic environment where your work directly enhances the well-being of families and supports the growth of a compassionate caregiving community.

Accountabilities:

• Oversee recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of new doulas to ensure program growth with integrity.
• Ensure all doulas maintain required certifications and compliance with HIPAA, Medicare FWA training, and other training requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of doula visits, maintaining standards for timeliness, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
• Manage documentation and follow-up on client reviews and feedback.
• Create engaging content for newsletters and communications to inform and inspire the doula network.
• Develop and oversee mentorship and scholarship programs to support doula development and program expansion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and drive program growth.
• Represent the program at community events, meetings, and press engagements, with occasional travel as required.

Requirements

• Certified birth and postpartum or full-spectrum doula with active certification(s) and 5–10 years of hands-on experience.
• Supported at least 50–100 birthing persons in previous roles.
• Minimum 5 years of operational and management experience in healthcare, community-based organizations, or startups.
• Strong commitment to advancing maternal health equity with empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable leveraging technology (Google Sheets/Excel).
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Flexible for occasional travel to meetings and events.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling content.
• U.S. citizenship required; Spanish language skills preferred.
• Must have iPhone 8 or higher.
