We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Toowoomba. If you have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities and are flexible with working various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, multiple overnights, and weekends, we would love to hear from you!
Working within our Supported Independent Living homes, you will support people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. In this role, you will be based in endeavour residential care home sites in Toowoomba caring for the disabled clients, providing daily personal care, using manual handling tools and managing any complex behaviours. Ideal applicant will have Cert 3 Qualification (desirable) and experience with SIL home Environment and with complex behaviour. Our rosters have multiple overnight shifts per fortnight in a row.
Your key duties will include:
- Helping people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.
- Assisting with personal care as required, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections.
- Supporting daily activities, such as going for walks, or accompanying appointments.
- Helping maintain connections with family, friends, and services.

Required Clearances & Willing to Obtain:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work).
- Australian Driver's License with comprehensive insurance.
