Job Title: Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

Garden Valley Retirement Village is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that dietary needs are met for our residents. This role is essential in promoting health and wellness through proper nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.

- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

- Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding dietary needs and preferences.

- Assist in the documentation of dietary intake and resident feedback.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
