Developer - Systematic Trading

Developer - Systematic Trading We are seeking a Developer to join one of Millennium’s long standing & successful Trading teams, currently comprising of 18. This role will design, develop and support a strategic set of applications for data collection, analytics and trading for this systematic team. Principal Responsibilities • Work directly with PMs, traders and quants to support and enhance system • Load data from multiple external and internal sources • Build monitoring system to proactively spot any data issues • Create APIs for the business to access data • Develop streaming analytics and real-time monitoring • Develop testing framework • Continual improvement of existing codebase Main technologies: KDB+/Q, Git, Gradle, Linux. Qualifications/Skills Required • Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related area • Knowledge of Q/KDB+ is an advantage • Familiarity with Linux is preferred • Quick learner, Detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; High sense of urgency • Strong communication skills
