The role We’re looking for a Creative & Brand Lead to scale ZAVA’s creative output and shape how our brand comes to life across every channel and touchpoint. You’ll be the guardian and voice of the brand, ensuring everything we create feels cohesive, recognisable, and emotionally engaging, whether it’s in product, marketing, or patient communications. You’ll evolve and stretch our brand identity to fit new formats, explore emerging creative opportunities, and make sure our visuals and tone stay relevant, distinctive, and trusted. You’ll lead a small team of creatives and collaborate closely with Product, UX, Marketing, and Content teams to guide creative direction, define standards, and build scalable systems that make high-quality creative easy to produce and easy to use. You’ll also manage agency relationships to ensure external partners understand and apply our brand correctly. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines creative vision, brand strategy, and people leadership. You’ll set the creative direction, define what great looks like, and bring it to life with clarity, consistency, and impact. What you'll own Scale creative content: Build and oversee scalable systems, templates, and processes to deliver high-quality creative across all channels and locales. Evolve the brand: Develop and refine the visual identity and ensure it remains modern, flexible, and true to our values as we grow. Act as brand gatekeeper: Own brand consistency across all touchpoints, from marketing campaigns and product interfaces to social and internal materials. Explore new creative formats: Lead experimentation with motion, video, interactive formats, and new technologies (including AI) to elevate patient engagement and storytelling. Provide creative guidance to Product and UX: Partner with UX and Product to ensure visual alignment, clarity, and emotional resonance throughout the patient journey. Lead and mentor the creative team: Manage and develop in-house creatives, coordinate freelance or agency partners, and foster a culture of creative excellence and collaboration. Manage agency relationships: Oversee and quality-control creative assets created by our performance agencies to ensure consistency and efficiency. Measure and improve: Use data, feedback, and testing to continuously improve creative effectiveness and impact. Drive creative innovation: Identify trends, tools, and approaches that help us stay ahead of the curve in healthcare and digital communication. What you'll bring to the role Senior or lead-level experience in brand, creative, or design leadership roles Proven track record in evolving or managing brand systems across the digital and marketing environment Strong visual craft with hands-on experience in static, motion, and interactive design Experience leading and mentoring creatives across multiple disciplines Experience managing agencies and freelancers to deliver on-brand, high-quality output Ability to balance creativity with scalability by building templates, systems, and processes that maintain quality Experience guiding cross-functional teams and influencing creative direction across departments Familiarity with creative automation and AI tools to streamline production Nice to have, but not at all essential Experience in the healthcare, wellness, digital health or D2C technology Personal qualities Humble: You listen and take on feedback.
