Location: HMP Fosse Way, Leicestershire, LE18 4TN Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience) plus excellent benefits Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs pw), Permanent Ready to impact a better future? As a Creative Arts Tutor in our HMP Fosse Way team, you’ll help learners unlock their creativity and develop practical skills for life beyond prison. What you’ll do as a Creative Arts Tutor You’ll be entrusted to: Design and deliver educational programmes that align with course aims, reviewing and improving content for quality. Plan engaging lessons using high-quality materials and resources to optimise learning. Manage all aspects of learner accreditation. Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, achievements, and provide performance reports as needed. Build positive, professional relationships with learners to foster a productive learning environment. Support security procedures by carrying out rub-down searches of prisoners when required. Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have… A minimum Level 3 award in Education and Training (QCF), or equivalent. A minimum Level 3 qualification in Creative Crafts or a related subject area. Experience in roles requiring strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Recent and relevant teaching experience in your subject area.
