Overview and Responsibilities Job Role: Creative Arts Lead Group Tutor Contract: Term-time (39+2 weeks), Permanent Salary: £30,342 to £36,309 per annum (based on qualifications and experience) Your Purpose R.E.A.L. We are on the lookout to welcome a Creative Arts Lead Tutor to our team. Your new role will be supporting the Creative Provision Manager by supervising the day-to-day activity on-site and have line management duties for the Creative Arts Group Tutors. Deliver professional, inspiring and engaging sessions of the highest quality that challenge and stretch every student, and in which all students are motivated and engaged throughout. Our learners are looking for someone who can adapt the lessons to not only make them inclusive but also innovative! Skills and Qualifications We Need Our learners are working towards a range of certificates in creative arts such as: RSL Level 1, 2 & 3 Certificate in the Creative Music Industry (performance or production) RSL Level 1 & 2 Award in Acting GCSE Craft/Fashion, Textiles and Art So we are ideally looking for candidates with a background in delivering/supporting these certificates or their equivalent. Ideally you will have previously worked within education and have some experience of working with Learners who have SEN needs. Experience of working with children and young people, delivering subjects directly related to Creative Arts (Art, Drama, Fashion and Music). Lead Creative Arts GT JD There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
