Core Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - US)

This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain critical infrastructure systems that support key organizational operations. You will act as a technical architect, translating complex requirements into reliable, scalable solutions, and providing Tier III support. The position involves proactive system monitoring, performance optimization, and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. You will participate in project planning, influence technical decisions, and document processes to ensure long-term system stability. Accountabilities

• Plan, design, and implement core infrastructure systems to meet organizational requirements.
• Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal health and reliability of infrastructure components.
• Provide Tier III support, troubleshooting complex issues for internal IT staff, end-users, and stakeholders.
• Document processes, system configurations, and technical procedures accurately.
• Participate in technical project planning, providing direction and insights to leadership.
• Maintain technical competency by staying updated on emerging infrastructure technologies.
• Act as a technical liaison, translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3–5 years of experience, OR Associate’s Degree with 5–7 years of experience, OR High School diploma/equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical certifications preferred, including MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, RHCSA, VCP, Agile/Scrum.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent technical decisions.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with IT service management and infrastructure monitoring tools.
