In this role, you will shape the way users interact with AI-driven systems, creating conversational experiences that are both intuitive and human-centered. You will design dialogue flows, voice and text interactions, and error-handling patterns that guide users through complex processes while maintaining clarity, accessibility, and engagement. This position combines creativity, technical understanding, and user empathy to enhance digital experiences in high-stakes environments. Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and AI teams, you will ensure that conversational designs align with both user needs and business goals. Your work will directly impact user satisfaction and operational efficiency, bridging the gap between technology and human experience.

Accountabilities:

·         Design end-to-end conversational experiences for voice and text-based AI agents across various user touchpoints.

·         Create dialogue flows, conversational patterns, and error-handling strategies that feel natural and meet business objectives.

·         Define and maintain personality, tone, and voice guidelines for AI agents across multiple contexts.

·         Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to align conversational design with product strategy.

·         Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on conversational interfaces based on real-world feedback.

·         Develop documentation including sample dialogues, decision trees, and persona guidelines to guide consistent design.

·         Partner with product designers to integrate conversational experiences seamlessly with visual and interactive interfaces.

·         Measure and optimize conversational performance using analytics, conversation logs, and user feedback.

Requirements

·         3–5 years of experience in conversational design, voice design, UX writing, or related fields; healthcare experience is a plus.

·         Proven portfolio demonstrating natural, effective, and human-centered conversational experiences.

·         Experience designing for both voice and text interfaces, understanding their distinct constraints and opportunities.

·         Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and an understanding of their capabilities and limitations.

·         Strong writing skills to craft dialogues that handle ambiguity while guiding users naturally.

·         Experience conducting conversational user research and usability testing.

·         Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and give/receive constructive feedback.

·         Commitment to accessibility and designing inclusive, user-friendly conversational experiences.
