Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance-focused)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join our growing ERP Consulting team. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in delivering end-to-end Business Central implementations for a diverse range of customers from discovery through design, build, testing, training, and go-live support. Your primary focus will be on the Finance workstream, ensuring customer business processes are translated into effective, efficient, and compliant Business Central solutions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities: * Finance Process Workshops: Lead workshops with customers to understand business requirements and map these to Business Central functionality. * Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure Finance modules within Business Central, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable / Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank & Cash Management, Cash Flow, Cost Accounting, Consolidations, and Intercompany. * Implementation & Delivery: Manage end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, user training, and post-go-live support. * Customer Advisory & Best Practice: Provide guidance on financial controls, reporting, and Business Central best practices. * Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and other functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget solutions. * Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration guides, user manuals, and ensure knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams. * Pre-Sales Support: Assist with scoping, effort estimation, and solution design for prospective projects. * Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of implementation methodologies, templates, and toolkits.
