Construction Project Manager

 Summary

Coordinates project rollout objectives of the organization and reports on any inconsistencies with plant leadership. Responsible for keeping project on schedule and identifying issues with rollout execution.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan, organize, and      oversee construction projects from ideation to completion. Enforce safety      guidelines for both SIRE employees and subcontractors
• Develop contractor      relationships to broaden the ability of the company to receive competitive      bids for the work provided.
• Work with contractors to      solicit multiple bids for various scopes of work. Develop bid/scope      documents to guide this process.
• Work with Engineering Dept      to review plans, equipment drawings, or other project documents for      accuracy and feasibility.
• Work with internal and      external groups to put together project schedule (Gantt chart) and budget      (payment schedule).
• Track project budget/schedule/quality/other      deliverables and relay any inconsistencies to Engineering Manager.
• Create change order      documentation when change to schedule or budget arises.
• Interface with contractors      daily and provide updates to management on project status.

  Preferred Qualifications

· Engineering or other technical background 

· PMP certification

· Previous industrial project management experience with projects over $10M in value.

Education and Experience

· High school/GED required. Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial setting. 

· Renewable fuels or ethanol experience preferred.
