Construction Manager Team Leader

In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of high-voltage construction projects, leading a team of Construction Managers to ensure safe, timely, and quality project execution. You will be responsible for mentoring, training, and managing personnel while coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors. This position requires strategic oversight of schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety compliance. Frequent travel to project sites across the U.S. is required to maintain on-site leadership and support. Your efforts will directly influence project success, team performance, and customer satisfaction, providing a dynamic environment where leadership, problem-solving, and technical expertise are key.

Accountabilities

• Supervise and mentor assigned Construction Managers, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule standards.
• Oversee multiple projects to guarantee on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality installation.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and OSHA regulations, conducting on-site audits as needed.
• Support subcontractor management and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication between field teams, management, and clients.
• Assist with budget tracking, scheduling, procurement, and logistics to support project progress.
• Provide temporary construction management support during rotation or CM absence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a high-voltage substation or industrial electrical line construction supervisor or foreman.
• Strong electrical power background is acceptable if high-voltage experience is limited.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in reading plans and technical drawings.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ability to lead teams, work independently, and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel ~90% of the time and perform field work; able to lift 50 pounds and operate a company vehicle with a clean driving record.
