This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Construction Manager Team Leader in the United States.

In this role, you will lead and oversee a portfolio of high-voltage and industrial construction projects, supervising a team of Construction Managers to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time project delivery. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, budgets, subcontractor management, and adherence to safety and quality standards across multiple sites. The position combines field leadership with mentorship, providing guidance and development opportunities for team members. You will also serve as a key liaison with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to drive project success. Extensive travel is required, offering the chance to work in diverse locations while making a tangible impact on critical infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence team performance, improve construction practices, and contribute to the growth of both projects and personnel.

Accountabilities:

  • Directly supervise assigned Construction Managers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee multiple project sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
  • Train and ensure Construction Managers implement safety programs and OSHA regulations.
  • Support subcontractor management, addressing on-site safety, quality, and operational issues.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting activities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Construction Managers for day-to-day needs and logistical support.
  • Provide temporary construction management coverage as needed and contribute to organizational development decisions.

Requirements

  • Five or more years’ experience as a high-voltage substation or industrial electrical line construction supervisor/foreman, or equivalent electrical power background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings accurately.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 90% of the time) and work in field conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely.
