Concrete Form Setter

  Fath industries, a proud member of THE FATH Group is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Concrete Form Setter to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in various locations throughout Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.  Responsibilities:  * Build and lay out forms as required according to specifications with the ability to make * calculations depending on grades * Form Sidewalks and Curb, Gutter and Ramps * Clear work sites of any tools, debris and equipment * Perform all tasks with safety consciousness  * Other duties as assigned  Qualifications:  * Minimum 2 years of concrete form setting experience  * Some concrete finishing and prior experience in the construction industry is an asset * Knowledge of percentage of the slop and tape readings * Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure * Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license & a reliable vehicle to commute to different sites * High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions * Ability to work in varying weather conditions * Ability to work in a team setting and independently with little supervision * Flexibility and adaptability is an asset * Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends.  Additional Information:  * This is a seasonal position and typically starts in the springtime annually * This position is eligible for over-time * Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required * Training will be provided for various activities * We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months with the potential to continue your benefits during the winter months (off season). * Potential on call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season.  The Fath Group: Building Positive Change in Our Communities.
