We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Community Development Worker to help us deliver high-quality care, activities, and support across Worcestershire. You’ll be based at the Tudor Way Family Hub, with outreach work across South Worcestershire. Our Family Hubs are vibrant, inclusive spaces offering vital early support to children, young people (0–19), and their families. We work in close partnership with health visitors, midwives, speech and language therapists, schools, and a wide range of community organisations to ensure every child has the best possible start in life. We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Community Development Worker to help us deliver high-quality care, activities, and support across Worcestershire. You’ll be based at the WANDS Family Hub, with outreach work across South Worcestershire. As a Community Development Worker: You will be working in Malvern based at the Tudor way family Hub Engage with families through home visits and participation in Family Hub and multi-agency meetings. Build strong, positive relationships with families and partner professionals. Provide tailored support via one-to-one and group sessions. Safeguard children and promptly report any concerns in line with policy. Plan and manage your daily tasks, including administrative duties and report writing. Support and mentor volunteers to enhance service delivery. What We’re Looking For A relevant Level 2 qualification or above. Confidence to work independently across rural areas (a car and full driving licence are essential). Strong networking skills to build connections with community partners. Experience in organising community events and delivering sessions in outreach settings. Ability to attend, organise, and chair multi-agency meetings effectively. Willingness to deliver antenatal parenting sessions (training will be provided). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
