What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist – Woodworking Program & operate a 3-axis CNC router to produce high-quality wood components. Review & interpret CAD drawings for each order to ensure precision and accuracy. Coordinate with CAD Technicians, Lite Specialists, and other team members to meet deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain the organization of the tool database. Cross-train & assist in other woodworking departments when CNC work is light. Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies. Provide guidance and training to teammates as needed. Our Ideal CNC Machinist – Woodworking Experienced: Brings 2-3 years of woodworking or millwork experience with the ability to read drawings, follow work orders, and produce precise, high-quality results. Analytical: Interprets CAD files, takes accurate measurements, and solves problems quickly to keep production moving. Organized: Maintains an orderly workspace, manages multiple priorities, and stays calm when the schedule gets busy. Adaptable: Cross-trains in other woodworking areas and communicates effectively to support the team. Dependable: Shows up consistently, works with integrity, and takes ownership of the craft and the company's standards.
