About the job Job purpose You will work in a distributed global team that focuses on design, implementation, lifecycle management (operation and automation) of a PaaS platform based on OpenShift /Kubernetes and different public cloud services. Main missions Your responsibilities include: Have a leading role in building the CI/CD system of our Internal Developer Platform, built around OpenShift Work closely together with our customers from other AXA entities to ensure that our products and services meet the customer’s expectations. Be constantly improving our way of working, team routines and processes. Find ways to share learnings across the organization (internal talks, write internal blog posts, etc.). Learn various new things each day through your daily work but also through conferences, tech-talks and trainings. We emphasize learning and we also expect you to share your knowledge with your colleagues. Have lots of fun and take pride in what you and the team are doing. Expected skills & experience We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: 5 + years’ experience in IT engineering and service. Experience in Cloud technologies implementation. Technical skills At least 3 years of programming experience in a modern language (e.g. in Java, Scala, Go, or Python). Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices is a plus, but not mandatory, as is prior exposition to Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Experiencing in designing solutions while considering cost and maintainability thereof. Expert in container technologies of the Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift ecosystem. Experiences in other CNCF technologies/ products is a plus (i.e. proxies, service meshes, Etcd, Argo, Prometheus, Helm, Loki, etc.) Hands-on experience using Terraform or Ansible to manage Infrastructure as Code. Interest in general security topics and networking. Advanced skills in technologies used in a CI/CD and GitOps context such as Tekton, GitHub and code security solutions. Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud: AWS or Azure Strong expertise in Git / GitHub, and good knowledge about at least one technology stack specific build mechanism (e.g. Maven for Java). Leadership & Soft skills Good aptitude in working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Being able to work in international teams and multi-cultural environment. Work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive within a high-skilled team. Assertiveness, empathy, active listening. Practical, hands-on approach to get results. Customer centricity is key. Language skills Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is required.
