The Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and applications for multiple client projects. This role focuses on automating deployments, optimizing environments, and ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure solutions across cloud platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and contribute to professional services initiatives, supporting both technical excellence and business objectives. The position offers a fully remote work environment with opportunities to engage in complex cloud architecture, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code projects. Accountabilities

·        Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and applications using Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization tools.

·        Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like ArgoCD, GitLab, GitHub, or Codefresh.

·        Monitor systems using Datadog, ELK Stack, Grafana, or CloudWatch to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.

·        Actively communicate project status, update tickets in Jira, and log work for PMO review.

·        Respond to technical issues promptly, including after-hours escalations when necessary.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement optimized practices for cloud infrastructure.

·        Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing for applications, environments, and cloud best practices.

·        Drive professional services projects to successful completion, ensuring objectives are met on time.

Requirements

·        3+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform; minimum 1 year in each technology.

·        Experience with AWS and/or GCP (minimum 2 years); Azure experience may be acceptable in some scenarios.

·        Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Rancher).

·        Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitLab, GitHub, Codefresh).

·        Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch).

·        Skilled in troubleshooting complex cloud and application infrastructure issues.

·        Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguous or high-pressure situations.

·        Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing/project tracking systems.

·        Energetic team player, adaptable to change, confident in skills, and willing to share knowledge.

·        GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification required or must be obtainable within first 90 days.
