Clinical Pharmacy Technician (Behavioral Health)

Department Pharmacy Job Summary The Clinical Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists in accordance with Florida law, rules, and regulations. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician participates in quality improvement projects and initiatives, assists with the training of team members, and serves as subject matter experts within the pharmacy department. Required Qualifications - Require active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida. - Require Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification. - Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance. - Require two (2) years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer recent comparable institutional, retail, or community practice experience as a pharmacy technician.
