About the job The Civil Construction Manager will sit within the Operations Support Function and report directly to the Civil Manager. This role will manage civil construction projects related to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Independent Connection Provider (ICP) works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Civil Construction Manager must have significant experience in managing civil construction projects within the energy sector and must be adept at coordinating with various stakeholders. As our new Construction Manager, you’ll be at the heart of that mission, delivering multiple projects that fuel our expansion and deepen our impact. What you will bring: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction management within the energy sector, specifically BESS and ICP works. Significant experience with managing civil construction projects related to energy storage and connection systems. Proven track record of developing and continuously improving construction processes. Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role is for you if you have: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
