We are hiring a CEO (UK) to lead our UK market entry, drive commercial and regulatory success, and build a trusted, high-performing organisation. You will translate BJAK’s global vision into a UK-specific strategy, ensuring the business grows responsibly, compliantly, and profitably. This role requires an entrepreneurial builder who can navigate regulation, lead diverse teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver meaningful outcomes in a fast-moving environment. Lead across commercial, operational, and regulatory dimensions with full P&L responsibility. Ensure BJAK meets stringent UK regulatory expectations, especially under the FCA. Shape the team, culture, and partnerships that enable long-term market success. What You Will Do Market Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute BJAK’s UK market strategy aligned with global objectives. Drive market entry, localisation, and expansion initiatives. Identify and evaluate opportunities across products, partnerships, and distribution channels. Regulatory & Governance Leadership Ensure full compliance with UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA requirements and Consumer Duty standards. Represent BJAK with regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders. Lead governance, risk management, and compliance oversight for the UK entity. Commercial & Business Growth Own the UK P&L and deliver sustainable revenue and customer growth. Drive performance across customer acquisition, retention, and product adoption. Establish commercial partnerships that accelerate scale and market presence. Operational Excellence Build operational frameworks that support high-trust, high-efficiency delivery. Implement systems, processes, and controls that enable consistent, compliant execution. Oversee service quality, customer experience, and operational resilience. Team Leadership & Culture Building Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing cross-functional UK team. Embed a culture of integrity, accountability, and responsible innovation. Align the local organisation with BJAK’s global vision, values, and standards. Stakeholder Management & Brand Trust Serve as the face of BJAK in the UK, building strong relationships with regulators, partners, investors, and the broader ecosystem. Strengthen BJAK’s reputation as a trusted digital financial services provider. Ensure transparent communication with local and global leadership. What You Bring 10+ years of leadership experience in fintech, insurance, banking, digital platforms, or related regulated industries. Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance industry Proven track record of operating under FCA or UK regulatory frameworks. Experience leading P&L, scaling operations, or launching new market ventures. Strong stakeholder management skills, including regulator, partner, and board-level engagement. Ability to build and lead diverse, high-performing teams. Strategic thinker with operational discipline and commercial instincts. Bonus (Nice to Have) Experience in insurtech, digital distribution, or online marketplaces. Experience in founder-led or high-growth environments. Background in multi-country operations or digital transformation. Location Requirement Based in the United Kingdom, with occasional travel for regional and global leadership engagements.
