A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Grade VIII, Programme Manager Primary Care, Dublin South & Wicklow from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Purpose of the Post:
The purpose of the Grade VIII role is to support the IHA Manager and IHA Leads to drive and actively support the delivery of Sláintecare reforms and initially to focus on local service improvements to Area Administration of IHA Dublin South and Wicklow.
The post holder will ensure that all identified programmes of work are appropriately scoped, implemented and delivered to cost, time and quality requirements through the application of the required standards, frameworks, tools and processes.
The GVIII Programme Manager will apply best practice methodology to ensure efficient and effective IHA wide reforms are achieved and agreed with stakeholders and delivered in a systematic way. They will provide:
In addition, the GVIII Programme Manager will:
· ensure the efficient, effective and safe delivery of health and personal social services for patients and clients, within national and regional frameworks and available resources.
· ensure that Area Administration services are delivered to the highest standards within available resources.
· provide leadership to staff in delivering services consistent with the new model of care to ensure integrated service for patients and clients
· support clinical leadership in the delivery and governance of integrated service provision, ensuring safety and quality of service
· create a programmatic approach which supports collective responsibility and action in all aspects of Health and Personal Social Service delivery.
