We’re looking for a passionate Catering Assistant to support our food preparation and service team, ensuring every guest enjoys the finest experience. About the Role As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting a selection of our signature freshly prepared dishes. You’ll support the team in maintaining the highest standards of quality, speed, and presentation, ensuring every item reflects Fortnum & Mason’s commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day food preparation and counter service. Maintain impeccable hygiene and stock standards. Adhere to agreed standards of food presentation and product assembly. Respond promptly and professionally to any issues or queries. Communicate service-related matters to the Manager. Deliver attentive, friendly service that reflects Fortnum & Mason’s ethos. What We’re Looking For Experience in hospitality or food service, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food items, ingredients, and beverages. Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure. Strong communication and customer service skills.
