We are recruiting Care Assistants in North Tyneside, each joining a small, dedicated care team within their local area. The Roles (2 Positions Available) Role 1: Killingworth (NE12) Walker or Driver Supporting people living in and around Killingworth Role 2: Coastal Area (NE26 & NE30) Walker or Driver Covering Monkseaton, Cullercoats & Whitley Bay Walkers welcome Drivers must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Pay, Hours & Bonuses We offer block pay (not pay per call), meaning you’re paid from your first visit to your last visit within a shift. £12.82 per hour (Drivers) £12.25 per hour (Walkers) Mileage: 45p per mile (drivers) / 20p per mile (cyclists) Full-time hours available Bonus Schemes up to £300 New Starter Bonus up to £300 Refer a Friend Bonus up to £400 Annual Bonus £25 Birthday Gift Voucher Working Hours Your working hours will follow our agreed shift patterns: Early shift: 7:00am – 2:00pm Late shift: 4:00pm – 10:00pm You’ll be placed on a 2-week rota, which includes: Alternate full weekends or Every Saturday or every Sunday Evenings agreed within your contracted hours Benefits Fully funded DBS Paid induction training 1 week classroom-based (Mon–Fri) 2 days shadowing Online learning modules Funded Level 2 and accredited qualifications Holiday pay that increases with service 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Optional GMB Union membership About the Role You don’t need professional care experience - if you’re kind, patient, and willing to learn, we’ll support you every step of the way.
